Pliohippus
The Pliohippus represents the next stage after the Merychippus. The most important feature of Pliohippus is that it has even more developed hoof feet supported by the middle toe, the two side toes have been reduced so much that in real life they would be almost invisible. The Pliohippus is a very important stage of the evolution due to this but sientists are still depating how closely related to the Equus they are.
