Mesohippus
The Mesohippus (meaning Middle Horse) weighed in at a mere 45kg and 60cm tall, making it the smallest stage of horse. Mesohippus' were herbivores just like modern horses. Herbivores eat only plants including; grasses and some fruits and vegetables. The Misohippus evolved from the Hyracotherium.
